If you're an Ultra sonographer looking for a new opportunity to work in a fast-paced, professional environment where your talent contributes to changing people’s lives, then we want to talk to you. This position performs a variety of sonographic examinations for fertility patients and requires collaborating with physicians, other medical providers, and patients by providing expert care and service for fertility treatments.
We have an immediate opening for a per diem Ultrasound-Sonographer to work in our White Plains, NY Office (float to Mount Kisco, NY office as needed). Additional flexibility to work at any of our Manhattan practices (Eastside, Westside, Downtown, and Brooklyn) as needed is preferred.
When working, it is a rotating schedule need for an Ultrasound-Sonographer with your availability to work within the days and hours of Monday-Friday 7:00AM - 11:00AM EST, with flexibility for some weekends and holidays as needed.
Pay Range $45 to $50 per hour
How You'll Contribute:
We always do whatever it takes, even if it isn’t specifically our “job”. In general, the Ultrasound- Sonographer is responsible for:
- Performs detailed examinations of the anatomy/pathology
- Makes necessary measurements & calculations
- Performs transvaginal OB sonograms
- Assists with sonography in the OR, when necessary
- Documents results utilizing our electronic medical records
- Communicates effectively with the other team members
- Establishes personal rapport with patients
- Provides explanations of procedures
What You'll Bring:
The skills and education we need are:
- Completion of formal Ultrasound training in an AMA approved school and meeting the requirements for registry by ARDMS.
- RDMS/RVT required.
- Understanding and ability to follow MD protocols for procedures
- Ability to effectively operate all pieces of equipment utilized within the scope of this job.
- Prior experience with fertility patients strongly preferred.
- Minimum of two years of experience as an ultrasound technologist in women’s health preferred.
- Looking for a reliable team member with excellent bedside manner and communication skills
