Schedule:
- Full-time position
- 3 office days per week (can include office and/or a surgical day in the hospital)
- 52 annual 24-hour hospital call shifts (approximately one per week)
Position Overview:
The Physician specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology plays a key clinical role within the Women’s Health department. This position involves delivering high-quality, compassionate care in pregnancy, reproductive health, and overall female wellness. Responsibilities include:
- Providing prenatal and postpartum care for OB patients
- Diagnosing and treating acute gynecological issues
- Documenting care accurately within the electronic medical record system
- Providing care for laboring patients at a partnered hospital during on-call shifts
- Supervising ancillary healthcare staff including midwives, PAs, nurses, and MAs
- Performing surgical procedures as necessary
Minimum Qualifications:
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Active New York State medical license and DEA registration
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Pay & Benefits:
- Salary: Starting at $350,000 with guaranteed annual increases
