We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Representative to join our private Maternal Fetal Medicine practice in Suffern, NY. Our commitment to exceptional patient care and outstanding customer service is at the core of everything we do.

Position Type: Full-time or Part-time
Pay Range: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
Location: In-person | Suffern, NY
Benefits: Paid Time Off (Health benefits not included at this time)

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist patients in-person and over the phone with warmth and professionalism
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Complete new patient intake process and consultation prep
Verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and obtain necessary authorizations
Retrieve and organize medical records from referring providers
Handle patient check-in, including collection of copayments and open balances
Address patient inquiries and provide exceptional support
Prepare and maintain accurate medical records
Serve as a liaison between patients and interpreting physicians
Flexibility with scheduling is required

Schedule:

Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Tuesday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of front desk experience in a medical office (Required)
Experience in OBGYN or Maternal Fetal Medicine is strongly preferred
Proficiency in medical terminology, appointment scheduling, and patient registration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must be able to relocate to Suffern, NY prior to start date (if applicable)
