To work as part of a team in delivering the Healthy Child, Programme 5-19 years and Royal Free Hospital Trust (Enfield) School Nursing Service specification within the commissioning criteria.
To work in partnership with Children and Young Peoples team, service users, professional networks and stakeholders to provide Commissioned Services to meet Key Performance Indicators.
Ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence based policies and procedures.
To work with the School Nurse skill mix team to improve health and life outcomes for children and families within a defined community through delivering packages of care following assessment by the health visitor.
To participate in the development of services and health improvement activities.
To work in collaboration with other health care and service providers.
Support the children; families and young people in Enfield. To maximise there potential and health and well being in relation to preventable health issues. The 0-19 School Nurses will be supporting families and schools with children's health and wellbeing at the forefront. Safeguarding underpins all work by the 0-19 school nurse.
