Position Overview
- Permanent Urology position due to long-term vacancy
- Outpatient-focused role with required hospital/surgery center privileges
- Call type: Beeper, with 20 30 minute response time
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency) required
- California medical license and fluoroscopy permit (CA FLURO) required; licensure support available
- Trauma Level III facility
- EMR: Epic
- Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90 days
Clinical Volume & Support
- 20 patients per shift
- No admissions or rounding required
- No pediatric or neonatal care
- Provider will supervise APPs
- No RN, MA, or APP staff provided for locum coverage
- Stroke-certified hospital

- Advanced endoscopic techniques
- Laparoscopic surgeries
- Ureteroscopy
- Nephrectomy
- Prostatectomy
- Pelvic node dissection
- Renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy
- TRUS biopsies
- Fertility work-up
Preferred Skills
- Percutaneous nephrolithotomy
- Radical cystectomy with ileo-loop conduit
- Radical prostatectomy
- Robotic surgery (including partial nephrectomy/intraoperative ultrasound)
- Adrenalectomy
