Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor & Delivery (L&D) team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional care to expectant mothers and newborns during labor and delivery. This role requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for women's health.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist with prenatal care, labor monitoring, and delivery procedures
Provide emotional support to laboring mothers and their families
Administer medications and monitor maternal and fetal vital signs
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
Educate patients on postpartum care and newborn care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Qualifications and Skills:

Valid RN license
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Certification in Labor & Delivery nursing (L&D) is a plus
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of obstetric practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
