The opportunity
Often the first point of contact for Melbourne IVF our receptionists provide a professional, organised, welcoming and compassionate approach.
As a receptionist you will be responsible for performing reception and administrative activities at the front desk reception area and telephone reception duties in the call centre.
We currently have the opportunity for full time receptionist to join our Caulfield North team, however successful applicants may be required to work at our network clinics located throughout Victoria when required.
Responsibilities
Efficiently support our patients, staff and internal and external customers with their enquiries ensuring all telephone calls/enquiries are handled effectively and documented and followed up.
Registering clients in our patient database and booking of clinic appointments as required.
Effective liaison with other departments within Melbourne IVF, fertility specialists and medical secretaries.
Requirements
Year 12 or equivalent; or a demonstrated ability to absorb and learn new information
High level of organisational and time management skills
Ability to show empathy and understanding to patients and staff
Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality
Receptionist experience preferably in the IVF or healthcare setting
Customer service experience working with a diverse client base
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sound interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate
Demonstrated problem solving ability
Proficient in the use of Word and Excel and the ability to master a patient database
Proactive and self-motivated with an ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail
Able to work both collaboratively within a team and independently.
