We’re looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Urologist to join our team! Our service area has a huge need for Urology and you can be as busy as you would like right away. We have a growing team with great ancillary staff, a physician-led supportive administrative staff and great hospital partners. Urologist Duties:Diagnose and treat illnesses and disorders of the organs of the urinary systemProvide specialized medical care to patientsAssemble appropriate diagnostic and treatment strategiesMaintain and update professional knowledge by participating in continuing medical educationMonitor the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust to changes in patient conditionsUtilize physician referral services for consultationsEncourage and maintain open and supportive relationships with patients and their familiesMaintain effective relationships with other physiciansMaintain patient confidentialityMaintain appropriate documentation and recordsSupervise well trained ancillary staff, to include PAs, Naps and nursesUrologist Responsibilities:Manage the full spectrum of multiple surgical procedures and non-surgical procedures for male and female patients, including prostate, kidney, bladder, and kidney stonesPerform office-based procedures such as cystoscopy, urodynamics, urodynamics with uroflowmetry, and bladder biopsiesPerform surgical procedures, including cystoscopy, TURP, ureteroscopy, prostatectomy, prostatectomy with pelvic lymph node dissection, and bladder neck suspensionPerform ultrasound-guided procedures and injectionsPerform vascular and urologic proceduresIncoming patients, schedule appointments, and develop treatment plansPerform minimally invasive surgeryCommunicate with referring physicians, insurance companies, and other medical professionalsAttend staff meetings, conferences and continuing education coursesManage patient records and billingsRequirements And Skills:Residency in urology
