This is a Full-Time Position Monday - Friday 9 am-5 pm
Solo Gynecological Surgeon with a boutique practice near Northside Hospital, Sandy Springs, seeking a full-time medical assistant. Must be dependable and dedicated to excellent patient care with excellent communication and organizational skills, a multi-tasker proficient in time management, and initiative to go the extra mile.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Welcome patients and obtain vitals in a professional manner
- Prepare and clean exam rooms
- Prepare and administer injections
- Prepare specimens and requisitions for the laboratory
- Assist physician in exams and procedures, pap smears and cultures
- Set-up, clean, and sterilize all instruments
- Liaise between patient and physician regarding questions and prescriptions
- Maintain, stock, and order clinical and pharmaceutical supplies
- Pull and document lab results and other test ordered by Physician
- Pull and file medical records/charts
- Keep clinical referral lists and contacts up to date
- Assist Front Office as needed
Requirements:
- Previous healthcare experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills to maintain effective rapport with patients, physician and coworkers
- Capability of learning paper charts and EMR systems interchangeably
- Ability to work independently and within teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities and changes
- Ability to remain calm under high-stress situations
- Problem-solve using sound judgments and decisions
- Ask questions when in doubt, never assume
- Regular Attendance is vital to the success of this practice
- Background Check Mandatory
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma, GED or higher (Required)
- Medical Assistant certification (Preferred)
- Phlebotomy certification (Preferred)
- Medical Assistant experience (Required)
- Vital signs: 1 year
- Clinical instruction: 1 year
- Patient care: 1 year
