Full-time medical office scheduler needed for busy OB/GYN practice. Primary responsibilities include working with a scheduling team to answer all incoming calls to the practice, scheduling patient appointments for multiple OB/GYN providers, reviewing any insurance issues necessary for appointments, and providing appropriate patient education/instructions for efficiency of appointments. Position includes additional clerical responsibilities such as filing, copying, creating patient education folders and medical record/document scanning. Future opportunity may be available to be cross trained for other essential office positions (hourly wage increase provided for cross-trained positions).

Summary

As a Medical Scheduler, you will be essential in coordinating patient appointments and managing the flow of medical office operations. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will utilize your core skills in medical administrative support and patient service to ensure a seamless experience for patients. Your premium skills in EHR systems and medical terminology will enhance your ability to maintain accurate records and facilitate effective communication. With relevant experience in clerical tasks and customer service, you will contribute significantly to the efficiency and success of our healthcare team.

Qualifications

Proven experience in medical administrative support or customer service experience
Proficiency in EHR systems
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology
Excellent patient service and communication skills
Familiarity with Microsoft Office and multi-line phone systems
Ability to manage medical records and perform clerical tasks efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,440.00 - $39,728.00 per year
