Job Description
Job Title: Obstetrics Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Obstetrics RN to join our team and provide compassionate and expert care to pregnant women, new mothers, and newborn babies. The Obstetrics RN will work closely with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe delivery of infants and the overall health and well-being of mother and baby.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor and assess the health and well-being of pregnant women throughout their pregnancy
- Assist with the delivery of infants and provide postpartum care to new mothers
- Educate patients on prenatal and postnatal care, including breastfeeding and newborn care
- Administer medications and treatments, as prescribed by physicians
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families
Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid RN license
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred)
- Certification in Obstetrics Nursing (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and caring attitude
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
