The Nursing Supervisor partners with physicians and clinical staff to ensure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care through day-to-day operational oversight and supportive leadership.
This is a working leadership position, meaning you will remain hands-on with patient care while also fulfilling supervisory responsibilities.
We have an immediate opening for a Nursing Supervisor to join our Menlo Park, CA team office. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8:30am -5:00pm, On-Call 1 weekend/month.
The compensation range for this position is $112K - $145k depending on experience.
How You’ll Contribute:
We always do whatever it takes—even if it isn’t specifically our “job.” In general, the Nursing Supervisor is responsible for:
- Collaborating with physicians and providers to support seamless clinical operations and exceptional patient care
- Leading and mentoring a team of RNs, LVNs, and Medical Assistants assigned to the Menlo Park clinic
- Ensuring adequate clinical staffing each day, adjusting for call-outs and filling gaps as needed
- Monitoring daily workflows and ensuring coverage across all key areas, including procedure support, call-backs, and patient follow-up
- Actively participating in patient care, including assisting with procedures, and supporting the team during busy periods
- Acting as a communication liaison between clinical staff, MDs, and administrative departments
- Supporting process improvement initiatives, staff training, and implementation of updated protocols
- Maintaining a high standard of team performance by providing coaching, feedback, and real-time support
- Engaging in regular communication with clinical leadership, peer supervisors, and direct reports
- Assisting with orientation and onboarding of new team members
- Helping ensure compliance with regulatory and internal quality standards, including contribution to audit prep and policy updates
What You’ll Bring:
- Active California RN or LVN license required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an outpatient clinical setting (fertility or OB/GYN strongly preferred)
- 1+ years in a supervisory or lead role with demonstrated leadership and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working closely with both patients and physicians
- Ability to prioritize and adapt quickly in a dynamic clinical environment
- Comfort using EMR systems and Microsoft Office tools
- Passion for mentorship, team collaboration, and continuous process improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
- IVF or reproductive endocrinology experience
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) or Healthcare Management preferred.
- Excellent internal and external customer service
- Ability to work with a diverse patient population.
- Able to work rotation of weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Team player
- Experience with computerized scheduling and electronic medical records
- Spanish speaking a PLUS
