We are seeking an experienced, highly organized and detail-oriented assistant to support our team of specialists in our fast paced Medical clinic. The ideal candidate provides essential clinical support along side our Obstetricians and gynecologists to deliver high quality care to our patients. The assistant will assist with routine exams, prenatal care, patient education and support during procedures, all while ensuring a comfortable experience for our patients.

Duties

Take and record Vitals ( manual blood pressure, height, weight)
Assist patients in preparing for exams
Provide patient support, both in person and on the telephone
Process specimens such as urine samples, and cervical swabs
Provide advice and education for expecting mothers, and gynecological patients
Prepare exam rooms
Assist during minor office procedures
Maintain sterilization and infection control practices within the exam rooms and treatment areas
Ensure accurate documentation of patient history, symptoms, and follow-ups
Notify patients as requested by physicians
Schedule follow-up appt's, Ultra sounds, etc.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in OB-GYNE setting
Knowledge of medical terminology, and procedures specific to OB-GYNE care
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading abilities.
Strong Clinical skills with a focus on patient Care and Comfort
Excellent Interpersonal Skills to interact effectively with patients and our team
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour
