While we operate independently, we work collaboratively with prominent OB/GYN practices in the region—such as AllSafe Medical Group—to support seamless transitions of care and continuity. As we continue to expand our partnerships with leading hospitals, we are excited to welcome a dedicated OB Laborist to join our team at one of our high-volume hospital sites in Los Angeles or Orange County. Position Overview:
The OB Laborist will provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients in theinpatient hospital setting. This role is essential in delivering consistent, quality care and responding to emergent OB/GYN needs, including patients presenting in Labor & Delivery.
You’ll be part of a collaborative, supportive team of physicians and subspecialists, including Perinatology and Urogynecology with access to full hospital resources and strong backup support.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide inpatient obstetrical care only (Separate GYN-ER panel), including triage, labor management, and delivery

Respond to emergencies in Labor & Delivery

Collaborate closely with hospital staff, including nurses, residents (if applicable), and consulting physicians

Ensure timely and thorough documentation in EMR systems

Contribute to the continuity and quality of care for hospitalized OB/GYN patients
Qualifications:

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

Active California Medical License (or ability to obtain prior to start)

Experience managing high-risk obstetrical patients

Strong clinical judgment and decision-making in fast-paced settings

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule & Compensation:

Shifts include weekday, weeknight and weekend coverage

Flexible scheduling (full-time, part-time, or per diem available)
