The Associate Attorney provides legal counsel to support the organization’s operations, transactions, and compliance efforts within a private equity-backed healthcare environment. This position requires a business-oriented legal professional capable of delivering practical legal solutions in a fast-paced and collaborative setting. The role involves direct engagement with cross-functional teams and participation in activities critical to the company’s growth and strategic goals.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, vendor and supplier contracts, MSAs, NDAs, independent contactor agreements, and provider employment agreements
- Draft and review leases and provide guidance to general corporate real estate function.
- Assist with legal entity formation and governance across a multi-state footprint.
- Provide legal support for internal investigations, audits, and dispute resolution.
- Support corporate development activities, including mergers and acquisitions, by managing legal due diligence, coordinating deal documentation, and assisting with regulatory filings.
- Maintain appropriate legal records, documentation, and filing systems.
- Work closely with compliance, HR, finance, and operations to assess risk, implement policies, and promote legal best practices.

Experience and Education
- JD from an accredited law school.
- Actively licensed in a US jurisdiction, and eligible to practice law, or eligible to obtain a license or limited license in any other jurisdiction that may be required of in house counsel.
- 2+ years of legal experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Background in advising large corporate clients on contracting/strategic sourcing and real estate matters.
- Experience working with or advising healthcare clients (especially physician practices, MSOs, or healthcare platforms) is helpful, but not required.
