About The Women’s Emergency Care Centre
The Women’s Emergency Care centre is the Royal Women’s Hospital’s (level 2) emergency department. Each year the team cares for over 28,000 women and babies, supported by the medical teams within the Royal Women’s hospital and across the Parkville precinct. No two days are ever the same as you empower and care for women and their families. Our nursing/midwifery staff are integral to the Women’s Emergency Care centre and are supported by a dedicated team of educators.
About The Role
As an integral member of the Women’s Emergency Care team, you will be responsible for triage, emergency assessment and the acute care of women and neonates.

About You
To be successful in this role you'll be:
- An AHPRA registered Midwife and Nurse (dual registrant) with a minimum of three years post-registration experience in an acute women’s healthcare setting.
- A clinician focused on excellent care and exceptional clinical experiences.
- An outstanding communicator who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary team.
- Committed to maintaining knowledge of advanced antenatal and intrapartum assessment skills.
- Capable of working a rotating roster across all shifts including weekends and night duty.
