We are seeking an energetic and motivated Physician Assistant to support our Surgical Department team. You will work alongside physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat patients, contributing to efficient, high-quality care.
At ESHC, we handle approximately 1,800 surgeries and 2,700 endoscopy procedures annually. Our expert team includes nurses, surgical assistants, anesthetists, surgeons, OBGYNs, endoscopists, and visiting specialists.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Canadian Physician Assistant program (McMaster University or University of Toronto/NOSM Consortium preferred)
- Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
- Minimum two years of undergraduate university education prior to PA program
- Current BCLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience in Perioperative Surgery is an asset
