Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Embryologist to join our IVF (In Vitro Fertilization) Center. As a Junior Embryologist, you will play a vital role in the laboratory, assisting senior embryologists in performing various embryology procedures, maintaining quality control, and contributing to the success of our IVF program. Responsibilities
- Assisting with laboratory procedures: Support senior embryologists in performing embryology procedures such as oocyte retrieval, sperm preparation, insemination, embryo culture, embryo grading, and cryopreservation.
- Quality control and documentation: Follow established laboratory protocols and maintain accurate records of procedures, observations, and results. Ensure compliance with quality control measures and participate in proficiency testing programs.
- Equipment maintenance: Assist in maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment, performing routine checks, and ensuring optimal functioning of incubators, microscopes, centrifuges, and other laboratory instruments.
- Data analysis and reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to laboratory procedures, embryo development, and patient outcomes. Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations as required.
- Embryo selection and transfer: Collaborate with the medical team in the selection of embryos for transfer based on established criteria, contributing to the success of IVF treatment cycles.
- Assisting with cryopreservation procedures: Support the cryopreservation process, including vitrification and thawing of embryos, oocytes, and sperm, while adhering to established protocols and ensuring proper documentation.
- Quality assurance and compliance: Adhere to regulatory guidelines, safety protocols, and ethical standards in all laboratory procedures, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Research and development: Contribute to research projects within the IVF Center, participate in scientific discussions, and keep updated with the latest advancements in embryology and reproductive medicines
