Compensation:
$250,000+
Responsibilities:-
Conduct pre-anesthesia evaluations, obtain informed consent, and prepare patients for outpatient procedures.

Administer and monitor anesthetic agents tailored to ambulatory surgeries.

Manage anesthesia induction, maintenance, emergence, and airway, with invasive line insertions as needed.
-
Monitor and maintain patients’ fluid, electrolyte, and acid-base balance, addressing abnormalities.

Identify and respond to cardiac dysrhythmias or adverse reactions during and post-anesthesia.

Provide post-anesthesia follow-up care, assessing for complications and managing urgent situations.

Ensure anesthesia equipment is safe, functional, and maintained through regular checks.
Qualifications:
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
-
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
-
Five (5) years of anesthesia care in an acute setting experience preferred.

Valid state RN License (must meet education requirement(s) for state licensure).

Valid state APRN Recognition (must meet education requirement(s) for state recognition and obtain within six (6) months of hire).

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).

Certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association.

Current BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification.

National Provider Identifier (NPI) and Taxonomy code required at time of hire.
Qualifications and Skills:

Strong patient assessment abilities.

Proficient in interpersonal relations, customer service, adaptability, and change management.

Competent, confident, and autonomous, with the ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing, with surgeons and staff.
