Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an IVF Technician located in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. The IVF Technician will be responsible for conducting laboratory procedures related to In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF), handling and processing human gametes and embryos, performing embryo culture and cryopreservation, and maintaining lab equipment. The technician will also be involved in patient interactions, documenting laboratory activities, and ensuring compliance with medical standards and protocols.
Qualifications
- Laboratory Skills and experience in handling and processing gametes and embryos
- Research skills and ability to perform detailed documentation
- Field Work and Fisheries experience, with knowledge of biological processes
- Botany knowledge could be beneficial but is not mandatory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, or related field
