Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Midwife to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to women throughout their pregnancy, labor, and postpartum periods. This role requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for mothers and their newborns.
Responsibilities
- Provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to expectant mothers.
- Monitor patient health by assessing vital signs and conducting routine examinations.
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients and their families.
- Educate patients on family planning, childbirth options, and newborn care.
- Perform necessary procedures such as venipuncture and coding for medical records.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and care plans within electronic health systems.
- Collaborate with Ob/Gyn specialists when complications arise or additional medical intervention is required.
- Support patients emotionally throughout their pregnancy journey, ensuring they feel informed and empowered.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Midwife from an accredited institution.
- Strong knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment.
- Experience in family planning and patient care within a clinical setting.
- Familiarity with coding practices for medical documentation is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.

Pay: $128,263.00 - $130,182.00 per year
