Our Beverly Hills/Los Angeles location is seeking a per diem Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN). Please note, this position requires at least 2 years' experience in PACU, and requires working at least 1 day per week, and one weekend day per month.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide pre, circulating and post op assessments for patients.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and safety measures are followed.
- Assist physician or ultrasound technician with various fertility procedures.
- Provides patient/couple counseling, procedure teaching, communicates physician orders and instructions.
- Operating room support and providing PACU duties for fertility treatment procedures.
- Provides pre and post op education to patients.
- Inserting IV’s.
- Charting on EMR for the ASC.
- Assisting in QA projects and daily checks.
- Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients and patients’ families.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma. BSN preferred.
- Graduate of a certified nursing program.
- Current CA state Registered Nurse license without limitations.
- At least 2 years of experience working in an operating room within a fertility center.
- Experience working in IVF.
- Current BLS.
- Current ACLS.
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
