Full time Medical Assistant for a busy OB/GYN practice near Baylor hospital in Dallas. The candidate should have a strong work ethic, be dependable with the ability to multitask and prioritize. The qualified candidate should be a team player, self-motivated and reliable.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Preparing exam rooms and work areas for patients/physician.
Taking vital signs and preparing patients for the visit.
Assisting physician with examinations and procedures.
Triaging and responding to patient requests as directed.
Contacting patients about lab results and follow up appointments.
Educating patients by providing instructions and answering questions.
Scheduling surgeries and obtaining pre-authorizations.

Qualifications

At least THREE YEARS back office medical experience; women's health experience a plus.
EMR experience; Athena experience a plus.

Practice offers benefits package with medical insurance, 401K plan, and two weeks PTO the first year of employment. Salary will be based on experience and credentials. We are a Drug Free Workplace and an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
