The role will be responsible for all aspects of data collection and providing data reporting and analytics support to the directorate. The post-holder will play a key role in the collection, management and reporting of high-volume research data, serving a range of different purposes.
The post-holder will work with relevant systems (e.g. EDGE, Study Line, NIHR Open Data Platform) to collate and analyse data which is used for internal reporting as well as regional and national reporting. They will liaise with and support Trust Information Managers and the wider JRO in identifying and extracting data from local information systems in a sustainable way that will ensure compliance with national directives and financial sustainability.
We are especially keen to hear from candidates who can model and visualise data within Microsoft Power BI, and who are able to undertake advanced data analysis using MS Excel.
The role will support the unit and the running of a safe efficient service by providing reports for audit and research purposes, working closely with clinical teams to ensure the data meets the needs of the service.
The post-holder will need to work independently, ensuring all aspects of the Management Information System remain fit for purpose.
