Medical Assistant/Receptionist/Clinical Assistant
Busy and growing OB/GYN practice in Rockwall, TX seeks a full-time Medical Assistant/Receptionist/Clinical Assistant to join our staff.
We are looking for someone with a great attitude and strong work ethic. We seek a team member who is very detail-oriented, strong at multi-tasking and dedicated to high-quality care delivery. This is a stellar opportunity with plenty of room for professional growth.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Appointment scheduling and pre-visit planning
- Responding to requests for medical records
- Making and responding to patient emails, phone calls & messages
- Managing physician’s schedule, including surgeries, clinic, administrative meetings and meetings with industry representatives
- Collaborate with other practices to streamline patient care
- Ensuring that the reception and patient care areas are well-kept and orderly
- Assist providers with patient exams, specimen handling, and testing
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent - required
- Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse degree - highly desirable, but not required
- OB/GYN office or hospital work experience - highly desirable, but not required
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and telephone) with a friendly and professional demeanor - required
- On-going self-learning and improvement with self-directed task completion - required
- Dependability and commitment - required
- Ability to work well in a diverse team environment - required
- Reliable transportation and attendance – required
- Willing to be flexible in duties, including performance of medical assistance periodically - required
- Flexibility to work past scheduled shift times to accommodate excellent patient care - required
POSITION OFFERS:
- Full-Time Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
- Starting wage of $15/hr, more with commensurate Ob/Gyn experience
