Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented junior or senior embryologist to join our laboratory team. The embryologist will play a critical role in assisted reproductive technology (ART) procedures, ensuring the highest quality handling of gametes and embryos to maximize patients' chances of successful conception. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Andrology, IVF laboratory techniques, gamete and embryo handling, and cryopreservation, along with a commitment to compassionate patient care. However, we are also willing to train an exceptional candidate with an MT or MLT degree. The embryologist will also work with the National Embryo Donation Center in Knoxville, the nation's leading embryo adoption/donation facility. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree in MT, MLT, Embryology, Biology, or a related field.
- Certification by the American Board of Bioanalysis (ABB) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proven experience working in an IVF laboratory setting.
- Proficiency in ART techniques including IVF, ICSI, and cryopreservation.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity for micromanipulation procedures.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- High ethical and moral standards, with a compassionate approach and excellent communication skills for patient interaction.
- Multi-lingual skills a plus but not required.
