Global Category Manager - Indirect procurement

You will maximize the value for the Ferring Group overall by providing efficient procurement solutions and deals through leveraging economies of scale, optimizing demand, optimizing processes and capturing suppliers’ innovation.
Main Category in scope: Consulting Services; HR services; Financial Services; Legal Services; Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services.
Your day at Ferring
Category Management
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for the specified categories (Consulting, HR, Financial, Legal, BPO) to optimize cost savings and supplier performance.
- Conduct market analysis and stay abreast of industry trends to identify potential suppliers and opportunities for improvement.
Supplier Relationship Management
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring optimal service levels and performance.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions for the organization.
Sourcing and Procurement
- Lead end-to-end procurement processes, from identifying potential suppliers to negotiating contracts and managing supplier onboarding.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Risk Management
- Identify and assess risks related to the procurement of services, implementing mitigation strategies to safeguard the organization's interests.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
Cost Management
- Implement cost-effective procurement strategies to achieve financial targets and maximize value for the organization.
- Track and analyze spending patterns, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
Contract Administration
- Draft, review, and manage contracts and agreements for Consulting, HR, Financial, Legal, and BPO services.

Behind our innovation…There’s you
- Minimum Bachelor degree in procurement and/or business administration
- 5+ years of proven experience in procurement and sourcing for Consulting Services, HR Services, Financial Services, Legal Services, and BPO Services.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings.
- Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong project management and change management skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of Indirect Procurement related spend.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- English language fluency.
