Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate OB/GYN Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing care to women throughout their reproductive health journey. This position requires expertise in both outpatient clinic settings and inpatient care, particularly in a Level II Trauma Center. The OB/GYN Nurse will play a crucial role in supporting patients during pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum recovery.
Duties
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric and gynecological patients in both clinic and inpatient settings.
- Perform triage assessments to determine the urgency of patient needs.
- Assist with IV infusion therapy and monitor patients for any complications.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients about their health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures.
- Support laboring mothers during childbirth, providing emotional support and medical assistance as needed.
- Conduct routine examinations and screenings for women’s health issues.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care quality.
Requirements
- Current nursing license (RN) in the state of practice.
- Experience working in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center protocols is advantageous.
- Proficiency in IV infusion techniques and monitoring.
- Experience with triage processes and inpatient care is essential.
- Ability to provide compassionate care to children and families during sensitive health situations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Pay: $2,680.00 - $2,685.00 per week
