Summary
The Epic Clinical Analyst will be responsible for facilitating the discovery, design, configuration, and maintenance of the Epic clinical modules and associated applications such as EpicCare Ambulatory, Research, Willow, and Healthy Planet. The Clinical Analyst will be responsible for translating unique clinical requirements into system build and configuration through collaboration with other Epic Clinical Analysts and Application Managers. The analyst will possess knowledge of best practice requirements, policies, and procedures. The Clinical Analyst coordinates all issues that arise during and after the project for their application areas and must be very knowledgeable about policies, procedures, and business operations.
EssentialFunctions

Meeting with operational, administrative, and staff end users to understand key workflows, affiliate specific requirements and state specific nuances.
- Guiding clinical workflow design, building and testing the system, and analyzing other technical issues associated with Epic software.
- Developing an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization’s workflows by attending site visits and other integrated sessions.
- Attending Epic training classes to obtain required certifications in clinical modules.
- Translating knowledge of best practice clinical design, build, and testing techniques throughout the implementation and ongoing support phases.
- Working with Epic project representatives to complete design, build, and test tasks in accordance with the project plan.
- Acting as the primary support contact for the application’s end users.
- Identifying issues that arise within clinical applications as well as issues that impact other application teams and working to reach resolution.
- Identifying and implementing requested changes to the system.
- Maintaining regular communication with Epic representatives, including participating in weekly project team meetings.
- Participating in training and working with end users to troubleshoot problems and questions.
- Holding weekly communications with team members to discuss the status of deliverables, shared issues, end user concerns, budget, and upcoming milestones.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position has no supervisory responsibility.
