Responsibilities
-
Provide high-quality nursing care to mothers throughout labor and delivery, ensuring safety and comfort.
-
Assess, monitor, and document the progress of labor, vital signs, and fetal well-being.
-
Collaborate with the obstetrics and gynecology team to develop and implement care plans.
-
Educate families on the birthing process, pain management options, and postpartum care.
-
Administer medications and interventions as needed, following best practices and hospital protocols.
-
Offer emotional support to patients and families during the birthing process.
-
Work with designated nursery nurses to ensure newborns receive exceptional care.
Qualifications
-
Registered Nurse (RN) with a current license in Texas.
-
BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required.

Previous experience in Labor and Delivery or a strong interest in women's health preferred.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Compassionate, patient-focused, and detail-oriented.
