• Robotics to be available towards end of Summer 2024
• OP and IP clinic experience needed
• Procedures include: vaginal deliveries, C-Section, Colposcopy, Hysterectomy, U/S, Biopsy, LEEPS, IUD, NST, Birth Control
• Deliveries only at MBSH and clinic at Sullivan only
• Additional staff includes two Women’s Health NP, a Nurse Midwife, and an additional OB/Gyn – growing to 3 total OB/Gyns by end of 2024 is most ideal
• Work hours are 8a-5p, 36 patient facing hours
• Weekday Call Coverage 3:1
• Call 1:3 – obligated to 3 weekends for contract and opportunity for a 4th weekend with additional compensation – partnering group will pick up the 4th weekend if Sullivan providers don’t
• Current physicians are around 20 PPD
• New OB appointments are around 45-minutes
• Appointments are 4-8 weeks out
• # of deliveries per year in 2023: between 2 providers had 199 total; 134 vaginal, 29 primary C-Section, 39 repeat C-Section
• # of procedures in 2023 – 423, includes 361 without C-Section
• Dedicated C-Section Room, Share 2 ORs, No NICU or PICU – refer to SLCH (helicopter rides less than 1-hour to SLCH)
• Inpatient Rounding – 3-4 surgical patients weekly, Total Weekend Call/Deliveries for 2023 – 40 (ave 3-4 per month)
• Sullivan Hospital as a critical access hospital cannot have more than 25 admissions per day including 4 OB, 6 CCU, and med/surg beds
• wRVUs can vary depending on how much the physician wants to work – 62-90th percentile currently
Up to $400k guarantee for first 2-years, up to $50k signing bonus. Up to $100k loan forgiveness, CME allowance, ATO is the same as it is for Primary Care.
