Deputy Lab Manager (IVF/ Andrology)*

With facilities in Zurich and Zollikon, we house an IVF/Andrology laboratory, outpatient clinic, and two medical offices, ensuring seamless, patient-centered care.
Your Role
Join our dedicated team as an experienced clinical embryologist or Deputy Lab Manager to oversee advanced embryological and andrological procedures while supporting laboratory operations. Key responsibilities include:
Clinical & Technical Expertise
Perform and /or supervise:
- Sperm preparation, analysis, and cryopreservation (including TESE)
- IVF/ ICSI, oocyte retrieval/ denudation, and embryo transfer
- Vitrification/thawing of oocytes, embryos, and blastocysts
- Trophectoderm biopsy (for all ranges of PGT) and cryotank management
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment (incubators, micromanipulation systems, etc.).
Quality & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to ESHRE guidelines and QMS protocols.
- Manage documentation, database systems, and import/export of gametes/embryos.
Team Leadership
- Mentor junior embryologists and coordinate training programs.
- Collaborate with clinicians, andrologists, and interdisciplinary staff.
Your Profile
Education: Master’s degree in Life Sciences or related field.
- Certification: ESHRE Clinical Embryologist (Senior ESHRE certification preferred for the deputy lab manager position).
- Experience: 3+ (clinical embryologist) or 5+ years (Deputy Lab Manager) in clinical embryology/ andrology, including advanced procedures (PGT, mTESE).
Skills:
- Exceptional technical precision and adherence to SOPs.
- Proficiency in English (B1+); Willingness to learn German, additional languages advantageous.
- Competency in QMS, data management, and laboratory software.
