Your Opportunity:
The GPRH Obstetrics department consists of a single room maternity care model which has 22 rooms; 18 labor, delivery & recovery rooms; 4 private room antepartum/postpartum rooms and a 5-bed assessment/ OB triage space. We have a dedicated OR and recovery room area embedded into the unit. We care for patients who are low to high risk during the antepartum, intrapartum & postpartum periods including patients who require c-sections. The 5-bed OB triage area is embedded into the unit where we provide outpatient care & assessment of pregnant women from 20 weeks gestation to delivery. When the unit census allows, we also provide care for off-service patients. We value providing high-quality, effective, efficient, evidence-based, patient-centered care for all of our pregnant, laboring, postpartum, newborn and peri-natal loss patients. We strive to create an environment that empowers our patients & families through education and support through the life change that is pregnancy & childbirth, while also encouraging our staff to continuously learn and grow. By joining the GPRH obstetrical team, you challenge and build your nursing, interpersonal, coaching, teaching, multitasking and assessment skills through care of patients whose condition changes rapidly through the antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum process. In addition to a competitive salary, AHS currently has a remote retention allowance in place to a maximum of $3000.
