About Us:
Advanced Women's Healthcare is looking to add a full-time Phlebotomist to our growing and very busy practice. We are looking for a team member who is available to work Monday-Friday from 7:45am-4:45pm. The ideal Phlebotomist must have a strong work ethic, be able to communicate effectively, be punctual, reliable and dedicated. The Phlebotomist must be pleasant and respectful to co-workers, providers, and patients.

Job Summary:
As a Phlebotomist in our OB/GYN practice, you will perform blood draws, collect and prepare specimens, and conduct point-of-care (POC) testing. You will play a vital role in supporting patient care and maintaining the efficiency and professionalism of our clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform venipunctures with skill and care
Collect and prepare specimens for in-house and external laboratory testing
Conduct point-of-care tests such as urine pregnancy tests, urinalysis
Accurately label, process, and document specimens
Assist clinical team with patient flow and support tasks as needed
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA protocols at all times
Maintain inventory and ensure supplies for phlebotomy and POC testing are well-stocked

Qualifications:

Proven experience in a laboratory setting or related healthcare environments preferred
Certification (CPT) or completion of an accredited phlebotomy program preferred
Experience in women’s health, OB/GYN settings a plus
Familiarity with point-of-care testing procedures and documentation
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a busy clinical environment
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
