South Florida Perinatal Medicine is currently seeking a full-time Sonographer floater to cover it's Miami locations . The team is looking for a Sonographer that has a passion for customer service and quality care, is flexible and team-oriented. This position will help support the 5 office locations we have in Miami-Dade. SFPM offers a complete benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, CME reimbursements and paid time off. SFPM is the largest perinatal provider in South Florida, with 6 locations.

Job Summary:
This job is responsible for performing obstetrical and gynecologic ultrasound examinations at a technical level in accordance with department protocols and applicable regulatory requirements.
Essential Job Duties:
Executes all varieties of obstetrical and gynecologic diagnostic ultrasound exams presently offered by the department; performs all examinations in accordance with American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) standards and department protocols; determines correct techniques to obtain images of the highest quality and resolution; and participates (along with supervising Obstetrician/Gynecologist) in the final exam diagnosis.
Serves as a liaison between patients, interpreting physicians (Obstetrician/Gynecologist) and referring providers; explains testing procedures to patient; ensures that emergent exam results are relayed promptly to the appropriate physician.
Utilizes appropriate educational resources to maintain currency in diagnostic sonography, and assists in various educational services relating to both staff and patients; attends local and national professional meetings to stay abreast of new procedures, equipment or information; participates in the formal training of ultrasound interns; evaluates new ultrasound products and equipment.
Performs incidental office duties as necessary to maintain the completeness of the patient record; ensures that patient data is entered correctly and that patients are billed appropriately.
Assists with Quality Assurance/Improvements audits and activities as required.
Performs related duties as required.
