Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with expertise in sonography techniques. As an Ultrasonographer, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality imaging services to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Your ability to communicate effectively with patients and medical staff will be essential in ensuring a positive experience for all.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately assess patient conditions through imaging.
- Maintain aseptic techniques during procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Educate patients about the ultrasound process, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Keep accurate records of procedures performed, including patient history and imaging results.
- Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and sonography practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
- Proficient understanding of medical terminology related to ultrasound and patient care.
- Experience or knowledge in Ob/Gyn ultrasound procedures REQUIRED.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and medical staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or equivalent is required.
