Busy multi-provider OB-GYN private practice seeks sonographer for PART-TIME position, 2-3 days per week. Must be RDMS registered. Experience in gynecologic and obstetric ultrasound is required. Must possess the following characteristics: the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations; teamwork, self-motivated, and the ability to work independently; effective communication skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks; strict adherence to confidentiality and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Perform ultrasound examinations to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring adherence to medical imaging protocols.
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately assess patient conditions.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and follow safety protocols during procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures.
- Document findings and collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in sonography and related technologies.
