Allied – OB Tech – Travel Assignment
Location: West Des Moines, IA
Contract Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Schedule: Rotating Shifts
- Hours: 36 or 48 hours per week
Pay Package:
- For 48 hours/week:
- W2 (Taxable): $28/hr ($1,456/week)
- Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,407/week
- Gross Weekly: $2,863/week
- For 36 hours/week:
- W2 (Taxable): $21/hr ($756/week)
- Stipend (Non-Taxable): $1,407/week
- Gross Weekly: $2,163/week
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of OB Tech experience
- Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist surgical teams during obstetric and gynecological procedures
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and sterile fields
- Anticipate the needs of surgeons and nurses during procedures
- Ensure the operating room is properly cleaned and stocked before and after procedures
- Monitor and adhere to hospital infection control protocols and patient safety standards
- Support patient care teams in labor and delivery environments as needed
