Summary

SDFC is seeking a full-time Front Office Medical Assistant for our Del Mar location. As the Front Office Medical Assistant you will support the front office and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient case management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Provide case management to patients.
Update and file medical records and insurance reports.
Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms and scan into medical record.
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Social perceptiveness and service oriented.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.

This role ranges from $21.00-24.00 an hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
