Title: Embryologist
This practice is a fully integrated fertility center with a well- established state of the art embryology laboratory. Our current embryology lab is looking to hire an experienced Embryologist to accommodate our trajectory of growth.
Responsibilities include the following:
- Analyze and prepare specimens for insemination;
- Collect and prepare oocytes for natural insemination or ICSI;
- Assessing fertilization and zygote quality following insemination;
- Daily monitoring and handling of embryos during the culture;
- Perform assisted hatching and embryo biopsy for PGS;
- Cryopreservation and thawing of embryos at varying stages of development;
- Prepare embryos for intrauterine transfer;
- Perform quality control and quality assurance procedures and maintain records according to requirements.
Requirements:
- 3-7 years' experience in Embryology
- Experience in the following procedures: Egg retrievals, egg vitrification and thawing, ICSI, embryo biopsy, embryo transfers
- 2-3 years' documentation of embryo biopsy cases required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce error-free work in a fast-paced environment; accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
- Self-motivated and an ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work overtime as necessary
