We are looking for an RN, LPN or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) for our busy OBG practice. Primarily Asheville location, however may be scheduled in our South location from time to time.

Position will be Full Time or Part Time

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Demonstrates the ability to effectively organize and/or prioritize work and available resources to assist with efficient patient flow in the clinic.
Assists in the completion of routine clinic tasks. Ensures consistency in maintaining:stock supplies, forms, sterileinstrument inventory, equipment, appropriate exam room inventory, etc.
Follows protocols and performs accurate and thorough work-ups and check-ins of all patients via our Electronic Health Record system
Assists with procedures with the providers including setting up treatment rooms, patient education, and completion of appropriate paperwork
Performs CLIA-waived laboratory testing, injections, and other treatments/services per physician/midlevel orders, as applicable per discipline and documented competence.
Knowledgeable of and follows established Infection Control Guidelines and OSHA standards.
Knowledgeable of and follows established HIPAA policy and procedure standards
Appropriately documents patient information on patient record.
Ability to float to our satellite AWMC site as needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Moves in and out of exam rooms, front office, hallways, and waiting room, stairways. Spends a good portion of the day on feet.
Some bending and stooping required.Requires lifting up to 50 pounds.Over 50 pounds requires assistance.
Requires manual dexterity to maneuver for operating office equipment
Visual activity required to respond and react to client observations and to physical changes while assisting with clinic tasks.
Eye and hand coordination and finger dexterity needed to perform clinical procedures, entering data, and reviewing software.
Must be able to read and generate written communication and documentation.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, providers, peers, supervisor or other

Must be an RN, LPN or Certified Medical Assistant, with documented certification from an accredited program

Must be familiar with and have basic computer skills for operation of our Electronic Health Record program
