An exciting opportunity has arisen for a trained Clinical Embryologist to join our dedicated team at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. We have a full time and a part time vacancy; the full time is 37.5 hours per week and the part time 26.25 hours per week
The Centre for Reproductive Medicine is a well-established unit offering a full range of laboratory diagnostic and assisted conception techniques including IVF, ICSI, PESA, TESE and semen & embryo cryopreservation.
The Centre for Reproductive Medicine is housed in a purpose built facility and the embryology laboratories are equipped with state of the art equipment. The majority of our IVF patients have blastocyst stage embryo transfer using the EmbryoScope for culture.
We also have excellent research collaborations with world renowned teams including the Biomedical Research Unit in Reproductive Health; Warwick University medical School.
- The post holder will be expected to apply scientific knowledge, skill and expertise at the highest professional level over the full range of embryology and andrology procedures in the provision of a high quality clinical service to patients.
- The post holder will be expected to work unsupervised with decision making responsibility and will be required to take responsibility for other special duties.
- Contribution to development of the service will be an integral part of the role.
- Routine laboratory maintenance and administration will be a requirement of the role.
- Required to be HCPC registered or a final year NHS STP student with eligibility for HCPC registration this year. Must also have experience of working according to HFEA regulations
