We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Gap Year Students to join our team in a dynamic and supportive environment. This role is designed for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the healthcare field while contributing to patient care and support. As a Gap Year Student, you will have the opportunity to explore various medical specialties, develop essential skills, and make a positive impact on the lives of patients.
Duties
- Assist healthcare professionals in an OBGYN office setting and procedure room.
- Support daily operations by preparing examination rooms and ensuring all necessary medical supplies are available, assisting healthcare professionals,
- Perform vitals, intakes, venipuncture, etc
- Perform front desk duties such as check-ins, check-outs, scheduling appointments
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient interactions accurately and maintain confidentiality in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Experience
- Ideal candidates must be a post graduate student
- Experience or coursework in Medical-surgical, women's health , primary care, any specialty, etc
- Basic life support certification is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
- A passion for learning and a commitment to providing compassionate care will enhance your experience in this role.

Must be willing to commute to our Spring Valley, NY practice also.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
