Ascend Ministries has full-time job openings for Clinical Aides for our women's programs.
Our ministry offers a faith-based, long term Christian discipleship program along with licensed detox, short term, and outpatient programs for individuals struggling with chemical addiction. This position works directly with patients and serves as a Christian mentor for women.
The Clinical Aide will be responsible for:
- Supervision of daily client activities in a respectful and caring manner. This role includes aspects of mentoring and rapport-building with clients in the program.
- Case management services for clients in the program to include ongoing completion of various reports and documentation as directed by the Clinical Supervisor.
- Complete daily shift reports and enter client notes in EHR as needed.
- Assist in de-escalation of clients.
- Transporting and supervising clients at various program activities.
- Assistance with client intake, discharge, and searches for paraphernalia.
- Maintain daily program schedule and client supervision and accountability.
- Oversee medication self-administration
- Serving as a Christian mentor for women in our programs. Modeling Biblical principles and actions.
Job Requirements
- Must be comfortable being a Christian mentor to women and modeling biblical principles.
- Must be able to maintain strong boundaries with individuals in programs to hold clients accountable.
- Preferred at least 1 year of clinical experience in a health or human service agency, preferably within a drug and alcohol treatment setting.·
- Excellent documentation skills and familiarity with Microsoft office software.
- Able to work evening and weekend shifts.·
- Must have a passion and appreciation for the Christian mission of our organization.
- 2 year chemical dependency free if in recovery
- Must have a current driver's license with qualification under company insurance
