Role related to legal advice with a focus on Compliance and Data Privacy. The position shall provide direct support to the Compliance Officer (CO) and to the Data Privacy Officer (DPO) of Mexico and North Latam (Centro, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela) in the implementation of the Compliance and Data Privacy Management Systems.
Your Role
- Compliance and Data Privacy Program Support: support the implementation and local adaptation of the Compliance Management System (CMS) and Data Privacy Management System (DPMS) to each jurisdiction.
- Promote Compliance Culture: Support the development and maintenance of a strong compliance culture through training and awareness initiatives.
- Compliance Risk Management: Assist in compliance risk reporting and the identification of legal and regulatory impacts, supporting action plans as needed.
- Compliance Communication: Act as a key contact for handling and directing compliance issues within the organization.
- Business Advisory & Awareness: Provide guidance to business areas on Data Privacy matters and promote awareness through training and communication efforts.
- Strategic Alignment & Collaboration: Ensure alignment with global Compliance and Data Privacy strategies, standards, and local regulations, collaborating with relevant internal stakeholde
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or higher, with 3–4 years of Compliance experience in a multinational company or law firm.
- Strong understanding of compliance frameworks, data privacy regulations, and risk management.
- Agile, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment; works independently and proactively.
- Excellent intercultural communication skills; experienced in cross-functional and matrixed environments.
- Capable of strategic planning and leading initiatives that align compliance and business goals.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); other languages and experience in the pharmaceutical industry are a plus.
