We have an exiting opportunity at Adelante Healthcarefor a Medical Assistant at our Goodyear Health Center. Our Medical Assistants are required to have a Medical Assistant Diploma or Certification. You will also need to be compassionate, professional, organized, and a strong communicator.
The MEDICAL ASSISTANT prepares for the patient’s appointment by reviewing and updating records. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for taking the patient’s vital signs, capturing their medical history including their chief complaint, and document everything via electronic medical record. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing patients with clear instructions and other detailed information. At Adelante Healthcare, our Medical Assistants work closely with Providers and health center staff.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
o High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution and successfully graduating from an approved medical assistant training program
- Must have reliable transportation that can meet any operational reassignments of the organization during the workday. If employee is driving during work hours, the employee is required to possess a valid driver’s license and must be in compliance with Arizona vehicle insurance requirements
