Job Description What You’ll Do:
- Provide day-to-day health support including basic assessments, medication administration, and student monitoring
- Build foundational experience with students in therapeutic, structured learning environments
- Collaborate with school teams to support students' educational and behavioral progress
- Develop communication and care coordination skills with families and staff
- Serve as a consistent, compassionate presence for students who rely on daily structure
- Support field trips, school activities, and gradual integration into general education settings
Experience You’ll Need:
- LPN license in Massachusetts (or ability to transfer an active license)
- Experience or strong interest in supporting students with autism, nonverbal communication needs, and behavioral health challenges
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and composed in high-energy or emotionally complex situations
- Comfortable working in environments where hands-on clinical needs are limited, but emotional presence and behavioral support are essential
- Desire to contribute meaningfully to a school-based nursing team, whether as a new nurse or seasoned professional
- Strong communication and collaboration skills within multidisciplinary teams
- School or pediatric experience is helpful, but not required
