- Understands and follows Jiahu's “Mission Statement”, “Code of Ethics”, organizational policies, and structure.
- Provides general primary obstetric and gynecologial care using generally accepted standards of practice. The physician develops a plan of care for each patient, including complete history, physical examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment and /or referral, uses all available resources in an appropriate and cost efficient manner.
- Hospitalizes as needed any patient requiring in-patient care. Provides obstetric and gynecological care according to accepted Jiahui standards during the hospitalization.
- Confers with consulting physicians, mid-level providers, nurses, support staff, patients, and families concerning treatment and care of patients. Makes appropriate specialty and sub-specialty referrals, but maintains responsibility, assuring continuing of care.
- Perform general gynecological and obstetric surgical procedures, both diagnostic and therapeutic, using both minimally invasive and traditional surgical techniques.
- Performs colposcopies and LEEPs as office and inpatient procedures as appropriate.
- Conforms to government requirements and agrees to provide all methods of birth control including IUDs and the birth control pills
- Provide tubal ligations at the request of patients, at legally permitted age, following thorough explanation and documentation of risks and benefits. Performs circumcisions. Physician will perform elective abortions, vaginal birth after cesarean, VBacks, or forcep deliveries.
- Participates in regular call coverage.
- Participates in health promotion/disease prevention activities. Stresses the importance of preventive health care measures.
- Supports mid-level providers in supervision and consultation.
- Participates in quality improvement/assurance activities.
- Attends and participates in Jiahui Health Services activities as requested.
- Attends mandatory inservices and Jiahui Health Services meetings.
- Completes records in adequate professional detail, and in a timely manner using Jiahui electronic medical record system.
- Other duties as assigned by the Medical Director, and/or Jiahui Administration staff, to meet the goal of providing excellent health care.
- Maintains and acquires knowledge and skills to perform required duties to meet all hospital, government, organizational and licensure requirements.
- Abides by the Jiahui OB/GYN department protocols and guidelines.
- Follows established guidelines for use and/or disclosure of protected health information. Employees should report any breaches of the confidentiality to the Privacy Officer (Medical Affair Office) immediately. Failure to comply will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

- Daily inpatient ward round for his/her own patients
- Meet Standards of professional conduct and courtesy
- Appropriate code, document and submit charges in a timely manner
- Provide administrative support and committee assignments as requested
- Participate in Fellow training when requested
- Attend MAO-physicians meeting, departmental meetings, Grand Round, Committee meetings and CEO meeting when asked for EXPERIENCES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES 经验，技能及能力要求：
- Unencumbered license to practice medicine in Shanghai as an MD.
- Completion of Accredited OB/Gyn Residency Program
- Board Certified or equivalent in OB/GYN.
- Qualified in Basic Life Support. *Please refer to contract for all other required qualifications.
- Subspecialty licenses including but not limited in family planning; maternal and infant care(计生/母婴保健资格), etc.
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to read and interpret clinical data.
- Must have mobility sufficient to provide care to a variety of patients at an adequate pace.
