About The Role
Formed in 1882, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH) is a major metropolitan tertiary referral hospital and a principal provider of specialist healthcare. It remains one of the nation’s most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities.
The EN works under the guidance of Australian Nursing and Midwifery Council National Competency Standards for the Enrolled Nurse (EN) in collaboration with Registered Nurses (RN), multidisciplinary team and others to provide safe, compassionate, person centred care. The EN is responsible at all times for his/her actions and is accountable for delegated nursing care.
In this position will be required to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. This position is responsible for:
- Running the Gynaecology Clinics
- Following up on results and reports
- Assisting with procedures and setting up

Ideal Candidate
- Current enrolment with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an EN with medication endorsement, including oral and intravenous competencies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to work a Monday to Friday roster (9am - 5:30pm).
- Gynaecology experience preferred.
- Good team player and attention to detail.
