About Carlos Simon Foundation
At the Carlos Simon Foundation we offer an excellent position of HR Manager, based in Paterna, Valencia (Spain). The person who joins will be responsible for developing and leading the HR strategy, in coordination with Management and the rest of the managers of the Carlos Simón Foundation and Companies, with the aim of facilitating the management and development of their teams in all areas of HR.
The Carlos Simón Foundation for Women's Research is a non-profit organization founded and directed by Professor Carlos Simón, professor at the University of Valencia and renowned clinical researcher in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.
We are a multidisciplinary team made up of more than 50 professionals. We work to create a world in which women's health pathologies that affect the uterus are no longer a barrier to their quality of life and reproductive desire. Our main activity is biomedical research in the field of reproductive medicine and women's health, as well as the development of other initiatives and actions aimed at improving our knowledge in the field and its application.
Our organization is attached to the University of Valencia and the INCLIVA Health Research Institute (IIS INCLIVA), accredited by the Carlos III Health Institute, promoting educational access for our students and fostering the research career of our research team.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
A) Actively manage the employee lifecycle:
- Maintains a relationship between each department to identify personnel needs and coordinates the selection processes.
- Coordinates the onboarding of new employees together with the hiring manager.
- Attract, develop, and retain talent. Develop motivational programs.
- Coordinates the competency-based performance evaluation process.
- Prepare and manage the training plan
- Coordinates the conduct of the work environment survey.
- It proposes a policy of benefits and compensation for employees.
B) Manage the recurring activities and processes of the HR department, including:
- Implement, develop, and enforce HR policies.
- Manage labour relations, ensuring respect for current legislation
- Maintain external relations with the General Treasury of the Social Security, the Public Employment Service and/or the Mutual Society.
- Coordinate the Occupational Risk Prevention area, with the collaboration of the External Prevention Service, to guarantee compliance with all health and safety obligations.
- Prepare, manage and monitor the Equality Plan.
- It promotes scholarship and internship programmes with Universities and Public Entities, typical of a Foundation associated with the University of Valencia.
C) Works together with management in the creation and maintenance of the company's culture:
- He guides and advises the different managers in the management of their teams.
- Actively participate in the Internal Training Program in Leadership Competencies.
- Participates as a member of the executive committee in the definition and implementation of the organization's strategy.
- Participates in Internal Communication along with the rest of the Management.
D) Participates in the financial planning exercise, making budgets for personnel expenses.
Required skills and experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Labour Sciences, Industrial Relations or equivalent.
- Master's Degree in Human Resources Management
- Professional experience (demonstrable) in the functions described, minimum of 8 years.

- Work methodology based on standardizing procedures and using templates, suitable for scaling organizations that grow at a high rate.
